Mining Cores

Currency miners require mining cores to operate - they are the heart of the machine that actually generates the currency. Over time the mining core will degrade, and eventually break. Once broken they cannot be repaired. Players will have to go searching for a new one. 

Mining cores can be found in the following places:
- Buried treasure chests
- Shipwreck chests (very rare)
- Trial Chamber Vaults
- Mining Core Geodes that spawn deep underground

When searching for mining core geodes, you'll want to craft a remote finder tool. These special remotes are able to be charged with FE and right clicked to send out a search signal for any nearby mining cores. The remote will play a tone with a low or high pitch depending on how far you are from a mining core geode. The geodes spawn around every 40 chunks at very low Y levels.
